Review of last minutes meetings

Unable to locate the June 2010 meeting minutes. Ashley will be re-organizing the Coordinator computer and investigating further.

Correspondence

  • None

Budget

  • Inquiries were made into the amount of money it would require to change the name of our bank account. Due to limitations with Business vs. Personal accounts at the bank, any change to the information would cost the QCCAV over $250 per year. Main concerns noted by the panel included depositing cheques addressed to QCCAV without difficulty. Sarah mentioned that some credit unions do not charge fees for not-for-profit agencies. Teresa has agreed to look into this for the next meeting.  Steven will bring up the concerns at the Steering Committee Meeting to follow.
  • There were temporary changes to mailing information for QCCAV but we are changing back to directing mail to our main mailbox.
  • Teresa introduced a new format of the budget to highlight remaining amounts of monies per sub-committee. The change was intended to assist with and promote gradual depletion of funding over the fiscal year.

Other Business

 

  • Ashley asked some questions about the position and was informed of the proper invoicing procedure.

Review of work plan

  • Ashley to book meeting sites for future meetings.
  • Ashley to index coordinator laptop to try to locate June minutes
  • Teresa to research credit union accounts for non-profit organizations
